News and Information about Big Fish Creations.
On June 5 at 5:30 pm, Big Fish Creations will partner with Eastern Plumas Chamber of Commerce at a dinner/presentation for the second session in their Social Media Brass Tacks series. In this episode, attendees will learn about epic failures and wins in social media, crisis management and “social media rights” in this 90 minute dinner/presentation. The price ($40 per person) includes a delicious dinner at the Grizzly Grill.
"We plan to have a little fun in this session and entertain our attendees with some of the most epic social media failures and wins, then move towards some valuable tips on how to deal with crisis management (when things go wrong in your social media channel), and talk about what rights you have in the ever expanding social media landscape," says Michael Clawson, Chief Fish of Big Fish Creations.
Patty Clawson adds, "as always, our presentation will conclude with an impromptu question and answer session, where you will get a chance to pick our brains for our deep dark social media secrets."
About the Speakers
Michael Clawson is ‘Chief Fish’ at Big Fish Creations, an advertising and digital media company in the Sierra town of Graeagle. Michael has been active in social media communications before the term was actually defined. He believes there should be no real difference between online communication and “in-real-life” communication since the key component to both forms involves social interaction. He believes there is no real “trick” to social media other than actively participating and just showing up. Michael has educated numerous clients and friends on how to participate in various social channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Flickr, Tumblr, Google+, and Linkedin, just to name a few. He actively promotes his personal brand through his various channels, including his company website.
Patty Clawson is a Brand Strategist & Creative Director at Big Fish Creations. Patty believes social media is a strategy that requires first and foremost an objective, then a commitment to the messaging, and finally, a responsibility to each and every word written. She believes social media can be your best ally, or, your worst nightmare, depending upon your understanding of communication and how the world around you perceives your message. Some of Patty’s social streams include Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, About Me, Google+, Instagram, and Flickr.
