Big Fish Creations Wins County Website Contract

Among twenty-one companies that submitted bids from around the country, Big Fish Creations the local Digital Media Agency won the contact. The ability to establish a brand for the County of Plumas was the final tipping point that awarded Big Fish Creations the contract. 

With an interest in owning and operating their own website and domain, the County of Plumas was looking for autonomy that it had never had before. In an effort to generate tourism, it was decided by County Officials that now was the time to build a site of their own.

When the decision was made, Principal of Big Fish Creations, Michael Clawson was elated over the news that Big Fish took the contract. “It’s an enormous project that I believe my experience with branding www.graeagle.com will be extremely advantageous,” said Clawson. The messaging that the County of Plumas hopes to convey with their new website focuses on tourism, and the ability to drive tourists to the area through this site.

The details of the website and marketing efforts have yet to be disclosed, as Big Fish Creations will be meeting with the County to begin the creative process of branding this High Sierra community.

“The product (Tourism in Plumas County) will lend itself perfectly to a strong visual representation depicting the natural beauty this area has to offer.” This website will create the marketing platform by which the County of Plumas will jump into other marketing communications. “The design of the site ‘sets the stage’ so to speak for the forth coming collateral pieces the County could develop once it’s completed,” said Clawson.

The website is scheduled for completion in the next coming months, however much planning and strategy will transpire in the weeks leading up to its launch. It will be an exciting opportunity for the County of Plumas to participate in the branding process.
